How to unlock scrambled channels on DD Free Dish?

DD Freedish India's Free DTH service which is providing 150+ free TV channels. After migration of satellite from Insat 4B to GSAT15, DD Freedish added DVB-S2 TP for MPEG4 TV channels. Now Doordarshan Freedish airing about 18+ MPEG-4 SD channels and 2 HDchannels on the same TP, including 138 MPEG2 channels.

If you are using the free-to-air set-top box for DD Freedish channels, then you may receive lots of scrambled or encrypted TV channels without audio and video, with the dollar sign. There are two types of scrambled TV channels available -

DD Freedish (i-CAS encrypted) scrambled TV channels  -

DD Freedish providing i-CAS encryption on MPEG-4 TV channels, which can be received by using only Prasar Bharati authorized mpeg4 sd set-top boxes.

How to received DD Freedish scrambled channels -

So if you want to unlock / or want to receive these scrambled TV channels then you can buy this Doordarshan's approved set-top box. You can easily unlock these scrambled TV channels using i-CAS STB. Although, as of now these TV channels are already available in temporarily free-to-air for testing purposes.

These i-CAS scrambled TV channels will receive only in the authorized set-top box, there are no other set-top boxes that can receive these channels, and your current FTA set-top box cannot be changed or upgrade to receive these channels. You can check DD Free Dish i-CAS Set-Top Box from here.
