Mahabharata is an Indian historical television program based on a Hindu epic called Mahabharata composed by Maharishi Vyas, a program produced by BR Chopra and directed by his son Ravi Chopra. The music of Mahabharata was composed by Raj Kamal. The screenplay was written by Urdu poet Rahi Masoom Raza based on the original story by Vyas. The costumes for the Mahabharata television program were provided by Maganlal Dresswala.
The Mahabharata had already started airing on DD Bharti, but now or on Doordarshan's new TV channel DD Retro. You can watch Mahabharata on DD Retro channel from Monday to Friday at 8 pm.

The DD Retro channel has been launched since 13 April. Currently, this channel is available on DD Freedish, which can be seen on channel number 3. You can check the frequency of the DD Retro channel from here. Soon DD Retro will be added to other DTH and cable TV services. However, this channel is also available on Dish TV.
