This e-auction will be completed on a pro-rata basis.
Period -
Winner channels will be available on DD Free dish period from 1st December 2022 to 31st March.
How it will be? -
The e-auction will be conducted according to new policy guidelines for allotment of DD Free dish vacant slots. You can check the guidelines at https://prasarbharati.gov.in
Who can participate? -
Only Satellite TV channels which are permitted or licensed by the Ministry of I&B would be allowed to participate in this e-auction.
International Public Broadcasters licensed by the Ministry of I&B can also participate in this e-auction.
What is the Price? -
The e-auction will be Bucket-wise starting with the bucket having the highest reserve price from Bucket A and will progressively go down in the order of reserve price, according to the below table.

How to apply? -
Interested broadcasters may apply online at https://fdslots.prasarbharati.org
For unsuccessful bidders, the participation fee will be refunded within three weeks after the declaration of the results of the e-auction.
Successful channels will be placed on vacant LCNs of DD free dish. The channels will be required to arrange their own IRD Box or Satellite receiver in advance at DTH Earth station, Todapur, New Delhi.
Last Date -
The last date for submission of applications and original demand draft is 17 November, latest by 3:00 PM.
