It is a good update for private TV channels that Prasar Bharati has invited applications for allotment of vacant MPEG-2 slots of the DD Free Dish DTH platform. This is the 67th Online E-Auction and 5th Annual e-Auction for MPEG-2 vacant slots.
Duration :
The TV channels won in this e-auction will be available in MPEG-2 slots of DD Freedish from 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2024.
Date of 5th Online E-Auction -
This online e-auction process will be conducted tentatively from March 13, 2023.
Allotment of Slots:
The allotment of slots to the winning TV channels in the e-auction will be conducted as per the e-auction method.
Who can participate? ,
International public broadcasters and Indian private satellite channels licensed by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting can also participate in the e-auction.

Registration Fee :
Online payment of a non-refundable processing fee of Rs.25000 is mandatory on the above-mentioned portal. Don't worry online training will be provided to the eligible participants.

Result of DD Free Dish 5th Online E-Auction for 2023-2024 :
The successful channels will be placed on the vacant Logical Channel Numbers (LCNs) of DD Freedish.
You will find the list of winners of the 5th annual E-Auction TV Channels along with their LCN and Satellite Frequency.
